Are you thinking about making some wine and you're in need of a wine kit. Or are you already an experienced wine maker and you know what you want?

Which ever it is we have a wine kit that will suit your needs. The first thing we have to decide is what quantity are we going to make? We have two choices; 6 bottles or 30 bottles.

Wine KitMy preference is to always make the larger amounts as you get more choice, have more to drink, allow the finished wine more time to age and they work out less per bottle. Our next choice is to decide whether we want to add sugar as some of the cheaper kits have this as standard (it helps to keep the initial cost down). Again my preference is to buy the sugar/grape all inclusive kits.

Next decision is how much do I want to spend? Well wine making kits start at £20ish and work up to £100ish. That's quite a difference for a wine kit. The reason there is such a price range is because of the amount and quality of grape juice that goes into them.

As a general rule you get what you pay for. However there are factors that come into this. The more expensive kits benefit from ageing so if you can't leave the wine to mature for at least 6 months then there is little point spending big money on the wine kit. We only sell wine kits on our site that we recommend (whatever the price) and come with a full money back guarantee.

There are also many types of wine kit which are no longer available CWE, Unican, Vigneron, Southern Vineyards, Grand Maison, Brewmaker, Magnum, Vinamat, Kwik to name but a few. We however feel we have a great range of wine at all prices to suit anyone and super quality as well. The wine kits also have different making times. Again the more expensive take longer to ferment. We also do our own range of Premium Wines which are read to drink in 7-10 days so if you're in a rush this is the wine making kit for you.
