Free Shipping
Postage is free for all orders over £46 (Including V.A.T.) to all parts of Mainland UK. This excludes the Isle of Wight, The Isles of Scilly, The Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. The Channel Islands and all other offshore destinations are also excluded from our free delivery offer. Orders to any of these excluded destinations will be quoted upon receipt of your order, or can be discussed via telephone or email prior to ordering.
Heavy or Bulky Items
Extremely large or heavy items (such as the 30 litre or bigger presses) may also be excluded from free shipping, however we offer heavily discounted shipping on these items (we subtract the standard cost of shipping from the total cost of sending such orders to be as fair as possible). Such items may be palletised and sent via a 3-5 day pre-booked service. In this case we will give you prior notice, and our courier will contact you and arrange a delivery time that suits you.
Dispatch & Next Day Services
Our aim is to send out the same day all orders received by 9am. These will be dispatched so you will receive them the next working day by courier (excluding Saturday and Sunday) or by 1st class post. On the rare occasions we may be let down or if there is a problem with the order we will notify you.
Delivery Times
Mainland UK delivery is by a 24 hour, next working day service on Business Post. Orders to areas excluded from our free shipping offer may be on 48+ hour courier services due to logistical issues beyond our control. Small items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class post. These items are usually delivered within 24 hours, but this can vary (anywhere up to 10 working days), and is unfortunately beyond our control.
Business Post deliver up to 6pm, so please be patient if your order has yet to show up. Orders can be tracked via the link sent in your dispatch email. If you do not have this, please contact us and we can forward you the relevant tracking information.
Redelivery Charges
If after two attempts, our courier has been unable to deliver goods to you, due to a recipient being unavailable to sign for the goods, or in the case that you did not provide alternate delivery instructions, your order will be returned to us. In this case, a redelivery charge of £33 applies. This charge covers the costs incurred for a failed delivery. This charge must be paid before goods can be dispatched again. Failing this, your order will be refunded, minus a £20 administration and handling fee. These charges exist solely to cover our costs in this instance.
Calculating Shipping Charges
For orders under £46 we charge £7.50 for shipping by courier, or £3.50 for small items that are carried by Royal Mail 1st class post.
Please Note: For orders under £46 in value consisting of multiple items, the highest single shipping charge applies. For example, an order consisting of several small items would be charged at £3.50, however with an order consisting of a larger or heavier item (or items), in conjunction with smaller items, the courier charge of £7.50 would apply.
We belive this to be the fairest method of calculating shipping costs, however should you have any questions or querries regarding quoted shipping rates, please get in touch.
Courier Surcharges
Due to logistical reasons, all orders with a weight over 1kg to addresses outside of England, Wales and Lowland Scotland will encur courier surcharges. We pass the cost of these surcharges directly on to you from the courier. We do this rather than cover the cost through increased product prices or increased standard shipping rates, as we believe that being completely transparent in this matter is the fairest approach.
International Shipping
We offer shipping to most European destinations. Unfortuantely we cannot offer international shipping to destinations outside Europe due to prohibitive shipping costs. If you have any product specific enquiries for international shipping please contact us directly for more information, as this can, in certain situations be arranged.
